Programs
Our new programs give you the opportunity to gain individualized training in a highly supportive environment. You will obtain exceptional experience from the skilled, talented faculty and the wide-ranging clinical services of The University of Arizona College of Medicine. This is complemented by the individual attention you can receive at a smaller community hospital – University Physicians Hospital.
Residents are based at University Physicians Hospital. Recently renovated and updated, UPH hospital is a vibrant facility with 197 inpatient beds and a growing number of advanced medical and surgical services. Our on-campus multi-specialty clinics promote continuity of care for our patients as well as expand your experience to include helping people in an outpatient setting.
Along with inpatient and outpatient settings, these programs feature one-of-a-kind training in telemedicine. Rotations are available for residents interested in either generalist or specialty programs in many rural and medically underserved settings, often providing much needed care in Hispanic and Native American communities.
