The University of Arizona Medical Center - South Campus is rapidly being reestablished as a full-service hospital and outpatient treatment center to enrich the quality of care for people in Southern Arizona. We have completely renovated the facility, added new services and clinics, and increased the number of quality physicians and caring staff.

Educating the Next Generation of Healthcare Professionals
This hospital is the anchor for the next academic medical campus of The University of Arizona and The University of Arizona Medical Center. The new campus will allow The University of Arizona Medical Center to double its physicians to approximately 600, which will increase the number of graduate medical residents, staff and patients we are able to serve over the next 10 years.  It will include teaching and research facilities for The University of Arizona Colleges of Medicine, Nursing, Pharmacy, and Public Health, along with physicians' offices and specialized medical treatment centers.
