University Physicians Hospital is conveniently located and easily accessible from all areas of Southern Arizona. We are the closest hospital and emergency room for much of the southern area of Tucson as well as Sahuarita and Green Valley.

Since assuming management, we have added many skilled physicians specializing in emergency medicine and other health care professionals. They are faculty and researchers at the University of Arizona College of Medicine. In fact, the UPH Hospital Emergency Department has more full professors of emergency medicine than any other facility in the nation. And, all are dedicated to providing quality care for every patient.

For less-acute medical needs, our Urgent Care is now open for extended hours. We also provide specialized pediatric urgent care at the UPH Children's Center, open Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm.
